The Cadence Mono-Flap Saddle was born when a good customer of ours, Paula Phillips. Who, riding her lovely Welsh Section D,” Taffy” had just won the Blue Chip Showing Championship in her Mathew Lawrence Showing Saddle. Now deciding to try some dressage as Taffy moves so beautifully Paula decided to celebrate by treating them to a new dressage saddle.

Paula tried all our dressage saddles including a proto type Cadence “Cob” and after a bit of fine tuning the finished saddle was made. The Cadence Cob has proved a great favourite with both our Customers and their Wider, flatter, Equine Friends. In fact in September 2013, at the British Dressage Nationals Traditional Cob Stallion, Tiger Tim, ridden by Aly Matravers caused a huge stir by coming winning the  Novice Restricted, beating all manner of Warmbloods and Sports Horses in their  Cadence Cob saddle.

The saddle is available in black or as a special custom order in Rich Dark Brown, London Tan,Pale Brown. Seat sizes are 16.5″, 17″, 17.5″ and 18″

As with all saddles available from us a custom saddle can be designed for the individual customer if required with a number of options including custom knee blocks, twist, flap length or suede or doeskin seat or knee rolls so we really can produce the perfect saddle for you, we however recommend that you ride in a standard saddle for the 7 day trial before ordering so we can be sure the correct saddle is made as custom saddles are non returnable. We have also now added an option of a Lizardskin panel and Italian Calf Leather for that extra bit of glamour and the option of an adjustable thigh roll for those really big moving horses..
